Products made of oak and beech have been recognised by buyers from Slovenia, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Israel and Egypt, and therefore more than 80% of the product range has been dedicated to the demanding foreign market. The firm employs 90 workers, working on 30 thousand of square meters of the production line. By orientating towards the export, the firm has secured a stable income, solvency and work places for its employees.30 thousand cubic meters of wood of all kinds is being manufactured yearly and the manufacturing shows signs of constant growth.Wood Industry Bohor is constantly adjusting to the needs of the market and wants to develop further. Certified raw material- high quality Croatian oak, beech, fir and spruce is obtained from one supplier - the Croatian Forests ltd. The management is constantly following the local and foreign market tendencies and is developing. It was realised that a well managed organisation is important and ISO 9001:2008 was introduced. The Certificate is a guarantee to the foreign buyers that they are being respected, that the company works according to rules and regulations and everything is subject to the internal control.The decisions about producing final certified products are made by analysing the European market, which is more and more demanding in the field of quality. Wood Industry Bohor produces the very much sought after oak masive floors - country floors and the modern functional lam-parquet. The masive floors - country floors made of oak is one of the top quality floorings in the world. Long duration is the most important of the top qualities of oak or beech products of the Wood Industry Bohor. Quality wooden briquettes are made of dry, naturally clean sawdust without binding materials. Besides saving the energy, wooden briquettes are ecologically safe raw material. When briquettes are burnt, the same amount of carbon dioxide is made as what the tree used when it grew. The production line of WI Bohor also includes the ship-flooring and the wood used for heating. WI Bohor uses its own sawdust as a universal biological fuel to heat the factory, which lessens the amount of waste and contributes to the saving of the environment. Certificates |
